Remember all those times we'd blame lack of time for keeping us from reading as much as we'd like to? This three-week lockdown has served the perfect opportunity to make good on the reading pact we had made with ourselves. Staying put within four walls, working from home, cooking, cleaning and endless updates about the worsening situation of the pandemic can get overwhelming. While we can't wish this reality away, books make for a perfect escape plan as they transport us to a different world, of our choosing!
